Machine translation into Vietnamese,
finished by humans.

FAS pairs a tuned machine-translation engine with native Vietnamese post-editors, so you publish human-grade content in days, typically for 60%+ less than human-only translation.

Best-of-N candidates

Each segment is drafted by several engines, frontier LLMs (Claude, GPT, Gemini) and specialist MT, then routed per language pair, domain and content type.

Grounded in your data

Translation memory reused by match tier (100% / fuzzy ≥75% / repetitions); glossary enforced with constrained term injection; inline tags, placeholders and do-not-translate protected.

Scored & selected

Every candidate is scored by a reference-free quality-estimation model, plus glossary adherence and automated checks (numbers, tags, length). The top output is kept; below threshold routes to another engine or human-first.

Adaptive & private

Post-edits feed back into your TM, so post-edit distance drops over time. Your content is never used to train public models, and processing stays isolated.

02Expert matching

Vetted network

Native speakers who translate only into their mother tongue, filtered through credentials, a test translation, MQM track record and a signed NDA before joining the pool. Linguists can apply to join the network.

Matched to your project

By domain (legal, medical, technical, marketing), account familiarity (the same linguist across your work), past MQM score and availability for your deadline.

Light or full post-editing

Light for correct, clear text at scale; full for publish-ready tone, terminology and flow. High-stakes files get a second-linguist review (4-eyes).

Accountable, not a rubber stamp

The linguist owns quality segment by segment, the layer that turns a machine draft into something you can publish.

Scored against MQM

Every delivery is graded across Accuracy, Fluency, Terminology, Style and Locale, with severity-weighted error counts, not a spot-check.

Gate & rework

Deliveries below the agreed threshold loop back for rework before they ship. You receive the score and a full error report.

Compounding quality

Your TM and glossary are updated every project, so terminology and consistency improve each cycle. You own both.

Three drafts. One verdict.

Before a human ever post-edits, several models draft each segment and an arbiter keeps the best, or blends them. Picking that winner is the hardest part of the pipeline.

01Judge modelRecommended

A strong reasoning LLM compares the drafts on accuracy, fluency, terminology and format, then keeps or blends the best. Catches subtle style a score can't.

02Quality estimation

A quality-estimation model, such as COMET-QE, scores each draft against the source with no human reference. The highest score wins — fast, cheap and consistent.

03Consensus vote

Semantic similarity across the drafts; when two of three converge on the same meaning, the majority wins. Strong against hallucination.

What is MTPE, exactly?

MTPE (machine translation post-editing) is a two-step translation workflow: a machine translation engine or large language model writes the first draft, then a professional linguist who is a native speaker of the target language reviews and corrects it.

Done properly, the result reads like a human translation and costs a fraction of one.

Talk to us
What exactly is MTPE?
MTPE stands for machine-translation post-editing. An MT engine produces a first draft, then a native-speaker linguist corrects and refines it to human quality. You get the speed and cost of machines with the reliability of a human expert.
Light vs full post-editing, which do I need?
Choose light post-editing when the goal is correct, clear text at scale (internal docs, support, large volumes). Choose full post-editing for anything customer-facing, where tone, terminology and flow have to be perfect. Not sure? Send us a sample and we will advise.
Is my content kept confidential?
Yes. We sign an NDA on request before any file is shared, keep project data isolated, and never use your content to train public models.
How do you guarantee quality?
Every delivery is scored against the MQM (Multidimensional Quality Metrics) framework and ships with an error report. If anything falls short, we fix it free.
Which languages do you cover?
Vietnamese is our target language. We post-edit into Vietnamese from English, Chinese, French, Russian, Korean, Japanese, German, Spanish, Thai, Indonesian and more, with English ↔ Vietnamese as our specialist home pair.
MTPE or human translation, which should I choose?
For most product, website, documentation and support content, full MTPE reaches the same publish-ready quality as human-only translation (around $0.12 per word) at a fraction of the cost and time. Human-only translation and transcreation still win for slogans, creative campaigns and literary text. For official documents that need a signed accuracy statement, use our certified translation service.
Which machine translation engines do you use?
We do not lock you into one engine. Several engines, both neural MT and large language models, draft each segment; the best candidate is selected against your glossary and translation memory, and a native linguist post-edits it. You get the strongest draft for your language pair and content type, not whichever engine a vendor happens to license.
When is MTPE not a good fit?
When the source is creative wordplay, when the text is very short and brand-critical (taglines, app store titles), or when the source itself is poorly written. In those cases we recommend human translation or transcreation, and we will tell you so after reviewing a sample rather than force MTPE onto it.
How fast and how much?
MTPE starts at $0.03 per word (Starter), or $0.04 with your brand TM and glossary (Growth). Growth projects turn around in 24 hours and Starter projects in 48 hours, with rush options available. Use the estimator above for an indicative figure, compare plans, then send files for an exact quote.
